The parents of OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney, who is accused of murder, have been charged with unauthorized access to the deceased man’s computer. Prosecutors allege that they unlawfully accessed the computer in connection with the murder case.
Earlier this week, Kim and Deborah Clenney were taken into custody on felony charges for allegedly accessing a computer without authorization. Their daughter, Courtney, is also implicated in the crime.
According to the authorities, Courtney’s father, Kim, came into possession of Christian Obumseli‘s laptop shortly after Courtney allegedly fatally stabbed him in April 2022.
Prosecutors have obtained a series of text messages between Courtney’s parents and her legal team, which repeatedly discuss the need to obtain Christian’s password. A group chat between the parents and the lawyers contained over 4,200 texts.
It was revealed that Courtney had provided a list of potential passwords, and through trial and error over a week’s time, they were able to access the computer using the password, which turned out to be his birthday, 0412.
Courtney’s attorney advised the group not to actually access the computer, but Kim informed the lawyer that he had already done so and had started to explore its contents. He claimed to not have opened any files or seen any incriminating information.
The hard drive only contained a cryptocurrency balance sheet. As of now, prosecutors have not accused Kim or Deborah of deleting any content.
Deborah and Kim are expected to appear in a Miami court via Zoom from their residence in Austin, TX. Prosecutors are seeking to extradite them to Miami, where Courtney awaits her murder trial.
