Ice Cube Ends Westside Connection for Good, Ignoring Attempts to Reunite

Ice Cube has made it clear that his once dominant rap group, Westside Connection, is officially over due to his irreconcilable differences with Mack 10.

Cube recently reaffirmed this decision outside of Dash Radio during the “Dub C & CJ Mac Show.” Despite the calls for a reunion from fans, Cube remains firm in his decision and doesn’t care about their opinions.

On the other hand, WC still holds respect and affection for Mack 10, expressing his desire for a different outcome.

WC believes that the group’s legacy will not be affected and highlights that they still perform their hit songs.

Furthermore, WC states that he will continue to be Cube’s loyal companion, just as he was before the formation of the group in 1995.

The Westside Connection, consisting of Ice Cube, WC, and Mack 10, had a successful run with their platinum-selling album “Bow Down” in 1996. They also performed at high-profile events such as Dr. Dre’s Up In Smoke Tour and “Saturday Night Live.”

In the mid-2000s, the group experienced a violent fallout when Mack 10 and Cube’s road manager, who was also his brother-in-law, got into a physical altercation. This incident marked the bitter end of their relationship despite Mack 10’s prior warnings to Cube.

Mack 10 recently shared his perspective on the situation, revealing that he hasn’t spoken to Cube in almost 20 years and expressing his own grievances with the situation.
