Whoopi Goldberg is ending 2022 by when again invoking her questionable views that have actually extensively been thought about antisemitic — honestly questioning what she stated that was so bad.
The popular cohost of “The View” talked with The Times, where her so-called “cancelation” was raised … and it got Whoopi on a new mini-rant about the Jewish individuals and whether they’re a race or not — something that got her in difficulty previously this year.
Hollywood’s greatest paid starlet in the early Nineties, Whoopi Goldberg, was the very first black lady to be chosen for an Oscar two times.

Whoopi states that Jewish individuals themselves are divided on whether they’re really a race or not, even pricing quote one Jewish good friend as stating … “Not for nothing is there no box on the census for the Jewish race. So that leads me to believe that we’re probably not a race.”
The author mentions what lots of have actually currently stated on this subject — specifically, that the Nazis saw the Jews as a race, for that reason (in this context) they need to be talked about as such.

To that, Whoopi responded … “Yes, but that’s the killer, isn’t it? The oppressor is telling you what you are. Why are you believing them? They’re Nazis. Why believe what they’re saying?”
Whoopi goes on to double down on the idea that the Holocaust wasn’t about race, from her POV, by stating … “Remember who they were eliminating initially. They were not eliminating racial; they were eliminating physical. They were eliminating individuals they thought about to be psychologically malfunctioning. And then they made this choice.”

When the author mentions to Whoopi that physical tests were being done to Jews to figure out if they were, in reality, Jewish in Nazi Germany — once again highlighting that Nazis seen Jews as a race — Whoopi pressed back and stated … “They did that to Black people too. But it doesn’t change the fact that you could not tell a Jew on a street. You could find me. You couldn’t find them. That was the point I was making. But you would have thought that I’d taken a big old stinky dump on the table, butt naked.”
She appears hung up on semantics — particularly, in between race and ethnic background (which are various) — all ’cause “Jewish” does not appear on the census under race. Regardless, there’s no doubt Jewish identity is multi-faceted — and Jews are, for sure, an ethnic group … and have actually been translucented this lens throughout basically all of history.
Why Whoopi continues to quibble this problem is beyond us, however this is absolutely a 180 from her apology … which she provided quickly prior to she was suspended for two weeks.
Time will inform what comes of it in the new year.
