In a dramatic clash between Donald Trump and Bill Maher, the former president took to Truth Social to respond to Maher’s recent jabs during his show “Real Time.” Following Maher’s eyebrow-raising speculation about Trump’s alleged affair with far-right activist Laura Loomer, Trump didn’t hold back. He labeled Maher a “befuddled mess” and criticized him as a “sloppy and tired host obsessed with him,” highlighting his cast of “B and C list guests” who consistently target Trump.
In his lengthy post, Trump also directed his ire towards MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle and New York Times columnist Bret Stephens, branding their panel discussion as riddled with bias. He denounced Ruhle for her loyalty to the Democratic Party and suggested that Stephens should seek employment far from the “FAILING” New York Times.
The spectacle intensified after Maher’s provocative comments questioning Trump’s fidelity, implying that he has strayed from Melania: “Who’s Trump f***ing? It’s not nobody. He’s been a dog for too long.” Loomer subsequently threatened legal action against Maher for what she described as defamation and disrespect toward the former first couple.
The feud seems to be escalating, especially as Maher has been taking digs at Trump for quite some time. Now, with Trump’s decisive rebuke, it’s clear he’s ready to voice his grievances loudly and clearly, suggesting a further deepening of the discord between the two public figures.
