It was a known secret in the industry that Khalid is gay. Actually, it was never quite a secret. Anyone with two eyes could see that Khalid is gay.

Well yesterday his ex, made some pretty serious allegations against the R&B singer. His ex explained that he dumped Khalid, and in retaliation, the singer accused the gay man of “breaking into [Khalid’s] house.”

The angry ex also threatened to spill some more damaging tea about he and Khalid’s relationship.

In response to his boyfriend’s tea spilling, Khaled decided to end all speculation – and come out. Here’s how he did it.

Khalid, 26, is an American singer and songwriter from El Paso, Texas who went to Americas High School. He signed with Courtney Stewart’s Right Hand Music Group, an imprint of RCA Records to release his 2016 debut single, “Location” and its 2017 follow-up, “Young Dumb & Broke”. Both songs peaked within the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, received diamond certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and preceded the release of his debut studio album, American Teen (2017). Met with critical and commercial success, it received quadruple platinum certification by the RIAA and was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.
