La La Anthony Celebrates Bronny James as a Role Model While Kiyan Carves His Own Path

La La Anthony recently shared her thoughts on family friend Bronny James, calling him an “inspiration.” However, when discussing her son Kiyan‘s approach to his basketball career, La La emphasizes that he is keen on making his own choices regarding college.

Interestingly, Bronny is two years ahead of Kiyan. He has experienced the one-and-done system at USC and is now playing professionally, while Kiyan is still navigating his high school years.

La La highlights that even though Bronny has set a successful example for the path to the NBA, Kiyan is determined to carve a unique path for himself. “He’s doing his own thing,” La La explained, praising Bronny’s achievements while encouraging Kiyan to pursue his own ambitions.

“That’s family to us, so nothing but the best to Bronny, and Kiyan is doing his own thing too. Makes me really happy,” La La expressed, showcasing her supportive nature towards both young athletes.

Kiyan, who is set to graduate in 2025, has narrowed his college choices to three institutions, including his father’s former school, Syracuse University. La La, married to Carmelo for over a decade, hopes that Kiyan makes a choice that truly fulfills him.
