Amy Schneider‘s going from winning “Jeopardy!” to simply flat out winning in life — the historical television champ states she’s hitched, and she in fact did it on the Q.T. a long time earlier.
Amy exposed her marital relationship news on her social networks, where she revealed … “Genevieve Davis and I are delighted to announce that on Monday, May 9, we were married in a small private ceremony at the Alameda County Recorder.”
A year ago today, I remained in LA, waiting to satisfy a dream. The year given that has actually had plenty of great days, however without a doubt the very best one was May 9th, when Genevieve and I got wed. Without her, none of the other great days would have occurred. I’m so fortunate to share my life with her!👰♀️❤️👰♀️ pic.twitter.com/6zG1OpbBZV

The newlyweds stated they’ll be doing a more “traditional wedding next summer, but our lives have been much too busy this year to get very far in planning it, and we couldn’t wait that long to proclaim our love and commitment to each other.”
They published pictures of the civil event with the caption … “A year ago today, I was in LA, waiting to fulfill a dream. The year since has been full of good days, but by far the best one was May 9th, when Genevieve and I got married. Without her, none of the other good days would have happened. I’m so lucky to share my life with her!”
Schneider had a historic run as the trivia champ, acquiring 40 successive wins and making $1.3 million. It positioned her 2nd on the all-time champs’ list — just behind G.O.A.T. Ken Jennings — and up there with the very best of the very best.

Schneider was the very first female on “Jeopardy!” to ever cross the million-dollar mark, and the very first trans female to receive the “Tournament of Champions” reveal … which will air later on in October.
She got engaged to her spouse in February, and now they’re riding off into the sundown.
Congrats!!!
