Dove Shack Rapper C-Knight Passes Away at 52 After Stroke, Removed from Life Support

C-Knight, a member of the hip-hop group The Dove Shack, has sadly passed away, according to TMZ.

A family member has informed us that C-Knight, whose real name is Arnez Blount, passed away on Tuesday after the difficult decision was made to remove him from life support. He had been admitted to the hospital several weeks ago due to a stroke.

According to TMZ, C-Knight’s father revealed that his son was hospitalized in mid-October after experiencing dangerously high blood sugar levels due to his diabetes.

While receiving dialysis treatment at the hospital, he suffered a stroke and went into cardiac arrest. Although doctors were able to resuscitate him and put him on life support, he remained unresponsive, with no signs of improvement, according to medical staff.

C-Knight’s father previously mentioned that they were waiting for the results of a crucial MRI scan to assess any significant brain activity. However, the family remained hopeful during this waiting period.

The Dove Shack made a significant contribution to the West Coast G-Funk music movement in the 1990s, alongside artists like Warren G and Snoop Dogg.

C-Knight, alongside Bo-Roc and 2Scoops, released popular hits such as “Summertime in the LBC,” “This Is The Shack,” and “Smoke Out.”

He was 52 years old.
