Patrick Beverley Blames Ja Morant’s Gun Incident On Rap Music

Earlier this month, Fat Joe blamed Ja Morant’s father, Tee Morant, for his son’s habits. 

The Memphis level guard has been suspended for eight video games by the NBA for flashing a gun on video whereas in a Colorado strip membership.

But Patrick Beverly blames one thing else for Morant’s actions, rap music. [Head to the 7:02-mark]

“It’s loopy to say this however Charleston White was completely right. The music we hearken to and the way that’s the new model. The music say I preserve pipe, I do that and I try this. That turns into, ‘I want a pipe.’ A pipe which means gun,” stated Beverly on The Pat Bev Podcast With Rone. “I feel it’s the music, man. I ain’t bashing the music cus I’m listening to that sh*t, too. I’m not up at 9 a.m. listening to it, although, I’m gameday listening to it.”
