Premiere: Ballad proves R&B is not dead with new single, “Lemonade”

If you believe R&B is dead, R&B singer/songwriter Ballad is showing that theory incorrect with his brand-new single, “Lemonade,” which is debuting on This is RnB today.

With a musical journey covering the last years, the singer/songwriter is taking R&B by storm. “Lemonade” is an elegant, attractive tune discussing being “sweet like a glass of lemonade.” Ballad sings easily on the track and even displays his falsetto, and soprano voice. His voice and design might in fact be compared to Maxwell, however with his own design and style.

Mr. Love Ballad is putting everything on the lemons on the table in the track, generally stating he’s trying to find her true blessing and her love. The track makes you think about a stunning horizon, in the park with your boo and taking pleasure in lemonade.

Last month, his single “Orange” went viral on (black) Twitter in the middle of the “R&B Is Dead” discussion with over 1.5M views and counting.

Ballad states he wishes to bring “classic music back to the future.”

“Unlike tunes nowadays that tend to vanish, I pursue my music to be taken pleasure in by generations to come,” Ballad states.
