In a current look on Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, London shared an amusing story about her very first time satisfying her costar Jonah Hill in real-life.
“When we initially satisfied, we satisfied, like – I believe we had a conference like a number of weeks prior to we shot. And he had this huge van parked in the valet and I’m like attempting to get in, I’m honkin’ like, ‘who is obstructing?’”
“And he comes out, like, ‘I believe I’m expected to satisfy you today.’ And I’m like, ‘oh, you are. How you doin’?’”
“Jonah is truly my homeboy in reality. I enjoy me some Jonah Hill.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Fallon asked if director Kenya Barris needed to “ask” for her to sign up with the cast and London exposed that she had some problems. “He didn’t need to ask me. But I wasn’t sure if this was lined up with where I was going, work-wise.”
“I simply wished to ensure that, yes, the story had – it was a fantastic script and it was exceptionally amusing. But – there was more to be informed than simply the funny and I wished to ensure that the soul remained in there. And so those were my issues.”
