Media take Out has some unfortunate news to report, Trugoy The Dove the lead rap artist in the group De La Soul died this weekend. The rap artist, whose genuine name is David Jude Jolicoeur, was simply 54 years of ages.
In 2017, Trugoy freely went over the impacts of heart disease on his health. In a 2017 video the rap artist discusses how he was required to use a “life vest” to keep him alive.
The video started with Trugoy in his house in rural Maryland, where he discusses what it’s like coping with a Life Vest while fighting heart disease. He explains the Life Vest as a device that “will surprise me, and ideally bring me back from the matrix. I’m prepared simply to return to the phase. I miss it. I enjoy taking a trip; I enjoy being around my men. And I desire that back.”
Trugoy, or “yogurt” spelled backwards, was likewise called Plug 2 and Dave —and one third of the group De La Soul, whose album. 3 Feet High and Rising, launched in 1989 on Tommy Boy, was an important and industrial smash.
