Meghan & Harry Urged to Speak Up on Behalf of Charles Amid Racism Claims

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are being advised to publicly support King Charles after he was implicated as one of the alleged “Royal racists” in a new report.

The Telegraph reports that sources close to the Royal Family are calling on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to speak out and defend Charles in response to the renewed claims of racism. The controversy arose after Piers Morgan publicly identified the King as one of the senior Royals allegedly mentioned in a Dutch translation of a new book addressing the issue.

Piers also claimed that Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife, was the other senior Royal who allegedly made remarks about Archie’s skin color and was named in the book.

The specific details of the alleged comments have not been disclosed, but Meghan previously discussed them in an interview with Oprah.

During the interview, Meghan suggested that the alleged conversations implied concerns about Archie’s skin color, to which she agreed.

Moreover, Meghan reportedly wrote letters to Charles discussing these alleged remarks, which were revealed in Omid Scobie’s book, ‘Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival.’

According to Scobie, it was in these letters that the individuals allegedly making comments about Archie’s skin color were mentioned, which ultimately led to their names being leaked in the Netherlands. However, Scobie has asserted that he never documented their names in any draft.

Since 2021, Harry has refuted the media’s portrayal of the racism accusations made by him and Meghan against his family. However, more recently, he has slightly shifted his stance, suggesting the presence of implicit bias.

The sources quoted by the Telegraph have described the silence of Harry and Meghan as concerning, given their past openness about issues involving the Palace.

They also pointed out that Harry and Meghan had sought the Palace’s support when they first started their relationship, and Meghan was facing public scrutiny, making their current silence on this matter “interesting.”

Harry and Meghan have previously suggested that the Palace’s silence was intentional and part of a coordinated effort along with the British press to vilify Meghan.

Interestingly, it’s now being reported that Buckingham Palace and/or Charles’ inner circle are expecting Harry and Meghan to support Charles, which is seen as ironic given the narrative they have previously presented. Some of their followers view this as a form of overdue retaliation.

It is worth noting that the racism allegations have been a contentious issue, and Harry did not emphasize it during the promotion of his book.
