Lisa Bonet has initiated the process of officially divorcing Jason Momoa after nearly 2 years since they declared their separation.
According to newly obtained court documents by TMZ, Lisa is seeking a dissolution of marriage, almost 2 years after they publicly announced their split and decision to pursue a divorce.
In the filed paperwork, Lisa lists their separation date as Oct. 7, 2020, indicating that they have been apart for quite some time. Their marriage, which began in 2017, lasted for approximately 3 years.
Regarding their two minor children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf, Lisa is seeking joint physical and legal custody. In terms of finances, no spousal support is being requested by Lisa, and she also indicates that Jason won’t be requesting financial support either.
It appears that a prenuptial agreement is in place, as their individual assets and properties are “agreed between the parties.” This marks Lisa’s second marriage, having been previously married to Lenny Kravitz and shares a daughter with him, actress Zoe Kravitz.
This marks Jason’s first and only marriage. Although they got married just 8 years ago, they had been in a relationship for a significant period prior to that, first being linked as a couple back in ’05.
As previously stated in their announcement of their separation, they are focused on “freeing each other to be who we are learning to become” and are committed to co-parenting.
