Lindsay Lohan has once again proven she’s still popular, as the actress surprised fans by showing up at the premiere of the new “Mean Girls” film.
The star of the original 2004 movie joined the cast of the new version on Monday night in New York City, much to the delight of the attendees.

Lindsay wasn’t the only familiar face at the event — Tina Fey was also seen enjoying the company of the cast in New York City.
Notably, she’s reprising her role as Ms. Norbury and has also penned the screenplay for the new film, along with the preceding musical.
Tim Meadows also makes a return in the new movie, although he did not join his former and current castmates on the pink carpet. Other notable attendees included Megan Thee Stallion, Reneé Rapp, Jon Hamm, Lorne Michaels, and many more.
It’s unclear whether Lindsay makes a cameo in the new movie, but she did reunite with her former cast members Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert for a “Mean Girls”-themed commercial for Walmart last year.
Rachel McAdams, who portrayed Regina George in the 2004 version, was noticeably absent from the ad and told Variety that she “wasn’t that enthusiastic about doing a commercial,” and was unaware that her fellow “Plastics” would be part of it.
Interestingly, hardly anyone wore pink to the premiere, but to be fair, it wasn’t Wednesday.
