Kendrick Perkins has been one of Joel Embiid’s largest media supporters, going so far as accusing MVP voters of racism by preferring Nikola Jokic over Embiid.
He could also be reconsidering that.
This afternoon, it was introduced that Embiid wouldn’t be playing tonight towards Jokic in Denver.
Perkins accused Joel of ducking Embiid, who has now skipped each recreation in Denver since 2019.
“Joel Embiid is ducking that smoke… You cannot sit out this game… When it comes down to these matchups, I have a vote [for MVP]. I’m going to remember this moment.”
