Kendrick Lamar Debuts Dramatic Short Film ‘We Cry Together’ Opposite Actress Taylour Paige

Kendrick Lamar provided visuals to his most discussed tunes on his newest album, Mr. Spirits & the Huge Steppers.

Kendrick Lamar dropped his extremely expected album, Mr. Spirits & the Huge Steppers, in May of this year and fans took a taste to one specific tune, “We Cry Together.”

The track includes actress, Taylour Paige, and identifies the ups and downs of a relationship in between males and female.

From spoken abuse, to domestic violence and anything in between, the 2 provide rap and the spoken word over a dope track.

The short film begins with Kendrick Lamar worn a mechanic’s t-shirt being in their living-room smoking cigarettes cannabis. As he grumbles and screams from the living-room, Taylour Paige ultimately gets in and reciprocates his energy by shouting back straight in his face.

“I dislike you! I swear I’m not going to live like this. I swear to God,” Paige’s character states.

“B*tch constantly on some bulls—” he responds. “We can go our different methods today and you can carry on with your life, b*tch.”

The film continues with a back-and-forth match of chewing out each other and shifts from various spaces of the apartment or condo. The film ends with the harmful couple “having sex” on the sofa and the electronic camera panning out prior to the credits roll.

Taylour took a seat with The Hollywood Reporter and confessed that there was a level of comfortability and included that the energy felt “fantastic”  while shooting.

“I believe we simulated 8 takes. I wear’t believe anything can feel extracted when you’re with Kendrick, Jake, Dave. We were so in the pocket. And we understood what we were doing. Kendrick and I simply have a truly excellent understanding of each other. Like, he’s so dedicated to the reality, therefore am I. I simply seem like there’s a lot liberty because.”

Fans delighted in the film simply as much as they delighted in the tune. Lots of users required to Twitter to reveal their ideas on the task.
