Jim Jones Reflects On Roc-A-Fella Breakup

Jim Jones mirrored on the breakup of Roc-A-Fella and the way it affected New York in a latest interview.

“The confusion on the Roc-A-Fella breakup did loads of injury for New York music. Remember, Roc-A-Fella had so many various kinds of music. They had The Diplomats, they’d State Property, they’d Brooklyn sh-t. They actually had a powerful maintain on East Coast music, so when that sh-t began to occur,” he defined.

Capo and Hitmaka appeared on DJ Self’s present to advertise their Back In My Prime album. Hitmaka produced the entire hits…though some have hinted that he doesn’t make his personal hits.

Last week, legendary producer Pete Rock tweeted, dissing fashionable rappers. Many assumed the tweet was about Hitmaka.

“They are resampling rap and r&b data that was made solely 3-4 years in the past [crying laughing face emoji] no diggin for the hits they sampling what was already successful not too long ago lol [shrug emoji],” he wrote through Twitter.
