Maybe hockey gamers are the most difficult professional athletes.
Islanders star Brock Nelson pulled his tooth out on the bench after being accidentally struck in the mouth with a hockey stick Monday night — and the scene was … wild!
It occurred during the Islanders-Maple Leafs game at Scotiabank Arena, Brock cleared the puck out of the protective zone when Toronto star William Nylander‘s stick hit Nelson in the face.
The stick got Nelson respectable … dropping the previous first-round choice and 10-year NFL veteran to the ice, and when he returned to his bench, he understood his tooth was holding on for dear life.
Instead of waiting on his next dental practitioner workplace check out, Brock took matters into his own hands — actually — pulling his tooth out and commending the group’s fitness instructor.

The craziest part — Brock emerged from his seat after the tooth elimination and was all set to return in the game.
Different.
Obviously, the majority of tooth extractions are performed in a workplace under the care of a dental practitioner, utilizing regional anesthesia. But, not Brock Nelson’s.
Despite the 31-year-old’s grit, the Islanders lost the game to the Maple Leafs, 5-2.
