Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are being encouraged to speak on behalf of King Charles after he was named as one of the alleged “racists” within the royal family, according to a new report.
The Telegraph quotes two sources close to the Royal Family urging the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to speak out and defend Charles amid these new allegations, sparked after Piers Morgan took it upon himself to identify the King as one of the supposed members of the royal family mentioned in a new book on the subject, which happens to be translated into Dutch.

The other high-ranking member who allegedly made comments about the skin color of Archie and was named in the book, according to Piers, is Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince William.
Now, the context of what any of them might have said at the time has yet to be disclosed, but it appeared to have been concerning enough for Meghan to bring it up in an interview with Oprah.

Remember, Meghan was careful to characterize what was allegedly said and its implication. But when Oprah asked if these alleged conversations inferred that Archie being “too brown” or too dark could be “a problem,” Meghan stated that it was a safe assumption. So, she certainly seemed to agree with that narrative.
Of course, in addition to expressing their concerns to Oprah, Meghan also wrote letters to Charles some time after these alleged comments, a revelation that came to light in Omid Scobie‘s book, “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival”.
It was in this correspondence, according to Scobie, that the people who allegedly made comments about Archie’s skin were identified, which then somehow leaked to the Netherlands. Those versions were retracted, and Scobie has insisted that he doesn’t even know how the names made it there in the first place, claiming he never wrote them in any draft.
Since 2021, when this bombshell came to light, Harry has backtracked from what he and Meghan actually alleged about their family at that time. Earlier this year, he told a British reporter that the media had taken his words and twisted them into an accusation of racism. Lately, he has backpedaled, only suggesting implicit bias.
Harry why don’t you speak to your wife to get your lies to match up. Now 2 Royal racists from you claiming your family isn’t racist?#Endgame #OmidScobie

Nevertheless, as the names of Charles and Kate are being thrown around again as alleged racists, the Telegraph quotes an insider as saying, “The silence at this moment is deafening.”
Another source they cite says it’s “interesting” that Harry and Meghan haven’t said anything to confirm or deny reports that Charles and Kate are the ones allegedly behind these comments. Especially, because they once sought the Palace’s help when they first started dating and Meg’s name was being dragged through the mud.
Meghan and Harry have suggested that the Palace’s silence at that time was intentional, alleging a coordinated campaign with the British press and that Meg was being offered up as a sacrificial lamb.
Now, Buckingham Palace or Charles’s inner circle wants them to go to bat for him, which is an irony if they believe what Meg and Harry have been saying about the Palace for a long time. Basically, the couple’s fans see this as long overdue payback.
