Rep. George Santos is genuinely (we believe) flattered he advises individuals of Leonardo DiCaprio‘s character from “Catch Me If You Can” — however he’s hung up on the Leo thing, and not the compulsive and founded guilty phony part!!!
File this funny clip under “Ya Missed the Point” — however we got the embattled Congressman from New York Wednesday early morning on Capitol Hill … where our photog asked if he’s seen the Leo and Tom Hanks motion picture about notorious bilker, Frank Abganale.
Santos declares he hasn’t seen the Steven Spielberg-directed movie that had Leo representing Frank tricking his method through life — pretending to be an airline company pilot, medical professional, instructor and district attorney.
Perhaps not shockingly, Santos informs us he’s “flattered” to be compared to Leo … however completely disregards the genuine factor individuals are making the parallel. Y’know, the lies on lies on lies part!!!
The Congressman did lock on to another thing besides Leo’s looks, stating he wants he had the star’s savings account. Of course, there’s a likelihood he’s currently informed somebody that he does!

In the motion picture, Leo’s character is captured in the end … and Santos has currently been caught in more than a couple of lies. Besides his fib-packed resume, he just recently admitted he DID have a drag change ego in his youth in Brazil … after at first denying it.
As for a motion picture about his lie-filled course to Congress — does not seem like he’s down to offer the rights. Someone need to inform Georgie it does not work that method — if absolutely nothing else, he’s a walking Lifetime flick waiting to take place!!!
