Donnell Rawlings is standing by his actions during the recent altercation at the Laugh Factory with fellow comedian Corey Holcomb. In a recent appearance on “TMZ Live,” Rawlings explained that while he regrets his approach, he felt compelled to defend himself against Holcomb’s claims about individuals in the comedy industry who have appeared in three or more movies. Rawlings vehemently denies the allegations.
According to Rawlings, Holcomb himself has been involved in four movies, which Rawlings sees as contradictory and baseless for Holcomb to make such accusations.

Reflecting on the incident, Rawlings acknowledges that he shouldn’t have shouted at Holcomb. However, he was determined to defend the integrity of himself and other comedians who have worked on more than three movies.
Rawlings also expressed frustration over Holcomb’s consistent criticisms of his close friend Dave Chappelle over the years and felt the need to defend him as well, highlighting his loyalty towards his friends.
Rawlings expressed his disapproval of the recent trend in the comedy industry where comedians are resorting to controversies and taking aim at others, a shift that he finds concerning.
