Donald Trump is encouraging his supporters to be vigilant on Election Day.
The former president was campaigning in Iowa on Friday – a place set to kick off its voting on January 15 – and said he wants his MAGA loyalists to put an end to all of the “crap.”
Check out the clip, Trump ominously tells the crowd to roam polling places and be on the lookout for “crap bags” that might try to infiltrate.
If MAGA voters see any of that, he encourages them to put a stop to it right there in the booths, almost inciting some physical confrontations.
Scatological jokes aside, this is quite serious and serves as a warning of impending conflicts as we approach Election Day. Trump is fueling talk of election manipulation and inflaming his base of followers at this time.
Of course, we’ve seen this story before… on January 6, 2021.
It’s perhaps not a coincidence then that Trump was speaking in this manner on the eve of the 3-year anniversary of that. And yes, he continues to insist that the 2020 elections were “stolen.”
Let’s not forget he is the frontrunner in the odds to run for presidency, setting up a rematch between him and Joe. Hopefully, the ugly story won’t repeat itself.
