Katt Williams anticipated that his interview on “Club Shay Shay” would set the internet on fire, and now some of the guys he targeted are responding.
Kevin Hart labeled Katt’s comments as “sad” on Thursday, but didn’t miss the opportunity to promote his new action movie “Lift,” amidst the unsolicited stir caused by the interview.
Gotta get that anger up outcha champ….It’s honestly sad. In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film “LIFT” which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!! There is a moment in the trailer where @gugumbatharaw says “They Really Love You” ….I now know… pic.twitter.com/vM8PhVoC08

Katt essentially tagged Kevin as the “Jussie Smollett of comedy,” a charlatan who schemed his way into the film industry after arriving in Los Angeles from Philadelphia with no connections, and claims to have turned down several minor roles that Kevin happily picked up.
Kevin and Katt have been at odds for years: Kevin claimed that Katt had burned down a bridge during an interview on Breakfast Club in 2015, to which Katt recently told Shannon Sharpe that he had never touched a hard drug in his life.
Not to be outdone, Michael Blackson didn’t let Katt slide by accusing him of using a fake African accent throughout his career, but still offered his support at the end of the day.
According to Mike, Katt positions himself as the fourth best living comedian (he ranked himself at number 10), but thinks his glory days of 2005 are far behind him, as Mike claims to have seen Katt getting booed in his hometown of Cincinnati… a terrible look for a legend.
Cedric The Entertainer also expressed his frustration at Katt’s ongoing accusations that he was a joke thief.
The Rickey Smiley Morning Show
Katt also referenced Rickey Smiley in relation to his “beef” with Ice Cube in “Friday After Next”… and says he’s just confused.
