“…it’s the fastest script I’ve ever composed,” stated M. Night Shyamalan about his newest thriller in an interview with THR. “Signs was the fastest script that I composed prior to this. I wear’t understand if that’s to do with the engine, the motion of it, however we’ll see. I’ve enjoyed it a lot, and it’s really psychological.”

‘Knock at the Cabin’ stars Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn, and Rupert Grint.

“I was actually taken by what Denis [Villeneuve] and Dave [Bautista] performed in that scene in Blade Runner [2049],” stated Shylamalan when asked why he casted Dave Bautista in an interview with THR.

“He was still in a manner that was effective… there’s a kind of stillness where you’re refraining from doing absolutely nothing; you’re doing whatever and you’re still. Every cell in your body will do what it’s expected to do if you’re believing something properly. And Dave was embodying all of this approach because scene … I didn’t understand who he was at that time, and he stuck in my head. So when this script came, I resembled, ‘There appears to be one man who can play this huge human and do the stillness.’ So I asked Dave.”

‘Knock At The Cabin’ opens in theaters February 3, 2023.
