After widespread backlash on Monday, CVS Pharmacy decided it didn’t want any trouble from the audience at-large and fired two employees including one dubbed CouponCarl, for calling the cops on a Black woman who tried to use a coupon for a purchase.

But the firing hasn’t settled down customers and some white people are now calling for a boycott of the CVS store in Chicago in support for the manager Morry Matson who was fired.
Picking up the phone to call police on black people for mundane issues has captivated the world because of its ridiculousness—but now white folks are calling for a different type of action.
So you allow customers to threaten your
employees? The manager was shaking like a leaf. You lost my business forever.
Treat your employees like dirt.

CVS took swift action against Matson and another employee and released this statement:
“We’ve completed our investigation, and as a result, the two colleagues who were involved are no longer employed by CVS Health,” the company said in a statement.
“CVS Health does not tolerate any practices that discriminate against any customer and we’re committed to maintaining a welcoming and diverse environment in our stores,” it continued. “We have firm non-discrimination policies in place to help ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity.”
