Keaira Henderson was only 15-years old.
Gavin Denzell Henderson, 27, was her big brother who was meant to protect her and keep her from harm.
But after what neighbors described as a ‘volatile fight’ with Keaira, Henderson ended up stabbing and killing her.
A neighbor called 911 to report a domestic disturbance at the Dunwoody apartment complex around 3.20pm Monday.
The caller said they saw the dying teen going door-to-door looking for someone to help her.
He Was Covered In His Sister’s Blood
Police responded within minutes of the call, but it was too late.
Keaira was already dead in a breezeway when they arrived, according to WBS Channel 2.
Cops then received another call a few moments later. This time from a nearby dollar store.
The store’s manager told Ch2, that Henderson walked in covered in blood and carrying a large knife.
‘He just told me, ”Can you call the cops?” I said, ‘Why?’ He said, ”There’s been an accident,” Shehab Faisal said. ‘He’s showing me blood on his hands and his T-shirt.’
He Surrendered To Police
The manager said once the police arrived, the man walked outside and surrendered himself.
The brother, sister and their mother, along with other relatives, lived in the apartment complex.
Police say they are unclear what sparked the fight.
The Georgia Man has been charged with aggravated assault with the intent to murder, cruelty to children in the first degree, and felony murder.
