Iggy Azalea took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon (Mar. 2) to give fans an update on her new album Digital Distortion and long drought since putting out new music. “I know its been a long wait for my album – SORRY!,” said the Australian rapper. “I hope my fans understand my life has been filled with so many personal changes.”
She later continued, “I felt it was important I made some creative changes too – I needed my album to reflect where my head’s at in 2017. I really appreciate the patience & I’m so excited for all the new music, new visuals, album preorder dates etc. I’ll be releasing throughout the month of March. Thanks for your support .”
Starting the new month off, Iggy puts out a collaboration with Lil’ Uzi Vert titled “Can’t Lose.” Along with appearing on Digital Distortion, the song serves as the opening track on Def Jam’s Direct Deposit compilation LP available now on iTunes.
